Filipino Chinese community extends support to Donate Philippines’ medical and dental missions. In support of the initiative of Donate Philippines, an organization of voluntary blood donation advocates, to conduct medical and dental missions in Metro Manila and nearby provinces, the Filipino Chinese community led by the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) and FFCCCII Foundation, Inc. together with Federation of Filipino-Chinese Associations of the Philippines, Philippine Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc., Overseas Chinese Alumni Association of the Philippines, Filipino-Chinese Amity Club, World News Daily, Filipino-Chinese Shin Lian Association, Philippine Chinese Commerce & Industry Overseas Association, Philippine Soong Ching Ling Foundation, Philippine Jin Jiang Shen Fu Zhen Association, and World Fujian Youth Federation of the Philippines donated rice, noodles, medicines, face masks and vitamins for the said project. Leading the turnover ceremony were FFCCCII Board Directors Social Responsibility Committee Chairman Antonio Cosing and External Affairs Committee Chairman Nelson Guevarra, Welfare Committee Chairman Bonifacio Lui, and other officers of the Filipino Chinese associations. FFCCCII and the Filipino Chinese community has initiated various outreach programs since last year to help communities cope with the COVID-19 pandemic.
