At its Subic send-off, PRC Chairman and CEO Senator Richard Gordon said M/V PRC Amazing Grace is the country’s only humanitarian ship.

“M/V PRC Amazing Grace is instrumental in our efforts to help our kababayan (countrymen) in Catanduanes.” He stressed that PRC’s efforts are meant to help quickly ease the Catandunganons’ difficulties, put roofs above their heads and help ensure their fast recovery.

“If you were hit by typhoons and you lost your house, you’ll make sure to find shelter for your family. So, let’s help them recover and bring back their dignity,” Gordon said during the ship’s send-off in Subic.

M/V PRC Amazing Grace brought with its three additional vehicles — a Willy jeep, a Toyota Hilux and a minivan, to be used during the operations and relief distributions in Catanduanes and other affected areas in the Bicol Region.
